LECTURER DEPARTMENT OF NUCLEAR and RADIATION CHEMISTRY SCHOOL OF CHEMISTRY Applicants should have had previous research or teaching experience in the field of Nuclear Chemistry, and it is expected that they will possess a Ph.D. or equivalent qualifications. Duties include lecturing in advanced undergraduate courses, the supervision of research students, and a limited amount of lecturing to first year students in general chemistry. Knowledge of one or more of the following subjects is required: soil mechanics, land drainage, structural engineering and bridge design, reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete, photogrammetry, road location and design, road ebnstruction and maintenance, bituminous construction and design of bituminous mixes, strength of and testing of materials, use of electronic digital computers. The successful applicant will lecture at postgraduate level and wili participate in research programmes.
