Atkinson’s Century
When R. K. Atkinson, of Rutsley, plays in the second round of interclub golf matches tomorrow afternoon he will achieve a milestone which few can equal. He will be playing in his one hundredth successive match aa a member of Ruuley’a Woodward Cup team. He has not missed a game since his debut at the age of 17.
Even more in the veteran class is F. Williamson, who will he playing for Russley’s second Woodward Cup team. He has played In the series more or less continuously since its inception in 1938.
