Payment For Pulls Alters

Freezing companies have announced an alteration in the payments for wool on woolly lambs. For the lower pulls between l]lb and 2JIb payments have been Increased by 3d to 8d per head, but for the heavier pulls from 2]lb to 4}lb the allowances have been lowered by 3d to Is lOd per head. A spokesman said that the lower pulls would include the fine-wool lambs. The heavier ones included the lambs with coarser wool.

The new wool allowances for woolly lambs are: Ulb, 3s 9d; 1 5-81b, 4s 2d; l?lb, 4s 7d; 1 7-81b 5s; 21b, 5s 5d; 2 l-81b, 5s lOd; 2}lb, 6s 4d; 2 3-81b, 6s lOd; 2}lb, 7s Id; 2 5-81b, 7s 4d; 2}lb, 7s 7d; 2 7-8lb, 7s lOd; 31b, 8s Id; 3 l-81b, 8s 4d; 3ilb, 8s 7d; 3 3-81b, 8s lOd; 311b, 9s Id; 3 5-81b, 9s 4d; 3Jlb, 9s 7d; 3 7-81b, 9s lOd; 41b, Ids Id; 4 l-81b, 10s 4d; 411b, 10s 7d: 4 3-81b, 10s lid; 4}lb, Ils 3d. There have been no chances in schedules for meat and pelts.
