Five-Match N.I. Tour
A proposed five-match itinerary northern tour by the Canterbury B team for the 1967-68 season was placed before the Canterbury Cricket Association’s management committee by the chairman of the minor matches committee (Mr R. L. Kerr) at a meeting of the association last evening. The itinerary allows for matches against Marlborough (December 27-28), Hutt Valley (December 29-30,) Wanganui (February 1-2), Feilding (February 3-4), Palmerston North (February 5-6) and Wellington B (February 8-9). The players would travel by private car and cross Cook Strait on the railway ferry.
The president of the association (Mr I. A. Baxter) congratulated the Canterbury team on its win over the touring Australians.
