On the plough Final Orders beat Royal Chase by a length and a half at the end of six furlongs in Imin 15 2-ssec. the last five in imin 3sec and the last three in 38sec. Royal Chase led early but was overtaken in the run home. General Derby ran easily over five furlongs in imin 12 2-ssec, the last three in 42 2-ssec. He could have done better. M. Dombroski will ride him in the Golden Shears High-weight. General Derby is expected to be hard to beat. General Myth impressed. He was just in front of Summer Flight at the finish of a good gallop over seven furlongs. They took Imin 31sec, the last three in 39 4-ssec. On the inside trial Yoshiko pulled up in splendid fashion after her final trial for the Waimana Handicap. She worked with Beit Meri and was just in front at the finish in Imin 2sec for five furlongs, the last three in 37sec. Yoshiko looks ready for a successful debut in open grade.
