Ichtar Fit “The Press” Special Service PALMERSTON NORTH. Ichtar ran a good final gallop when he left six furlongs behind on the inside trial grass at Awapunl yesterday in Imin 16 3-ssec, the last three in 38sec. He has done well since Riccarton and will be a dangerous contender in the President’s Mile at Masterton. My Desire will not be as well fancied in the same race, although she went brilliantly yesterday to run five furlongs in Imin 1 l-ssec, the last three in 36 l-ssec.
