Gaoled For Six Months
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 27. A man who got £l6O credit for a car which he had not fully paid for was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment when he appeared before Mr E. F. Rothwell, S.M., today. “You have a number of convictions involving dishonesty—you must get out of the habit,” the Magistrate told Charles Wililam Jenkins, aged 39, a contractor, who appeared for sentence on a false pretence charge. Jenkins was said to have been in financial difficulties.
