HAMILTON, Feb. 27.
A badly decomposed body was found in Lake Rotorua late yesterday afternoon. The body was found lodged under trees at Wilason’s Bay at the northern end of the lake by a Rotorua man. The police could not ascertain whether it was the body of a man or a woman. An inquest to attempt identification was opened this morning.
An American Mormon elder from Hamilton, Mr Glen G. Aiken, went missing in the lake last July. An extensive search failed to recover his body.
