Baillie In Marathon
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. W. Baillie has been included in the Auckland marathon team to contest the national championship in Auckland on March 11. Baillie beat the Auckland champion, P. Sale, in the Owairaka marathon last December, but did not run in the Auckland championship as he was in the United States. The Auckland junior team named yesterday for the championships is particularly strong in the sprints, the 3000 metres steeplechase, the high jump, shot and discus.
