Seamen To Protest
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 27. The Auckland Seamen's Union is to hold a meeting soon to protest at the stopping of services between New Zealand and the North American west coast by the Union Steam Ship Company, Ltd. The union’s secretary (Mr T. Murphey) said today that the meeting would be held after the arrival of a company vessel, the Waitemata, which is on the last voyage from the United States.
