TRADE UNION PROPOSALS
Wage Control ‘Voluntary’ (N.Z.P.A.-Ktuttr— Copprfpht) LONDON, Feb. 23. Britain's trade union leadership yesterday rejected Government proposals for an enforceable Incomes policy. Instead, it decided to press its own scheme for voluntary control of wages. The decision was taken by the General Council of the Trades Union Congress, which said that it was subject to approval by a conference of executives of the 172 affiliated union* on March 2.
