Rangers In Cup Final

Queens Park Rangers, leader of the third division in the English Football League, qualified for the League Cup final on Tuesday with a 3-1 victory over the second division club, Birmingham City. Rangers, who won the first leg of this semi-final tie 4-1, won 7-2 on aggregate. In the final on March 4, Rangers will meet West Ham United which beat West Bromwich Albion, 6-2, on aggregate. They will be the first third division team to play at Wembley Stadium—the headquarters of English soccer.
