R. Brown, who played nine times for Scotland as a goalkeeper, has been appointed full-time manager of Scotland’s international soccer team, and will probably lead the team on its two-match tour of New Zealand in June. Brown, who has been manager of the Scottish first division club, St. Johnstone, since 1958, will have an annual salary of about £4OOO.
