Given His Clearance
The Canterbury Rugby League player, L. Mulcare, has been granted a clearance by the New Zealand Rugby League council to take up the position of captain-coach of the Western Suburbs club in Wollongong, 50 miles south of Sydney. Mulcare, a second row or loose forward for the Marist club, twice played for Canterbury last season. The council notified the chairman of the Canterbury Rugby League (Mr D. C. Wilson) of its decision to grant Mulcare a clearance for an indefinite period. Mulcare will be returning to a club for which he played some years ago.
