Second Market Third Day

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, January 23. Directors of Second Market Pty., Ltd., would consider publishing sales and prices when the volume of business grew, a director (Mr Leo Wall) said today. Second Market is inviting the public to buy and sell shares through it at half the brokerage rates charged by the stock exchanges. Mr Wall said the growth of business was expected to be gradual. Today was only the third of operations. Many inquiries had been received. The Australian Associated Stock Exchanges are expected to define their attitude to the second market later this week.
