Fall Of 2.9 p.c. In Week
Prices of New Zealand shares continued to drift in the week to January 19, according to the Reserve Bank’s index. The index, based on 44 companies actively traded on stock exchanges and covering a wide range of industrial and finance stocks, lost 39 points to 1391 in the week—a fall of 2.9 per cent.
