Title Bowls Start Today
The Christchurch Bowling Centre’s championship tournaments will begin today, with the first four rounds of the open singles.
There is a large entry.—ll sections, each containing 16 players—and most of the prominent singles players will be taking part. K. G. Murray (Opawa), J. Dale (Burwood), D. Stuart ((Dallington), and J. Leyell (Beckenham) have been leading singles players for some years.
G Orchard (Burnside) and F. G. Wise (Sydenham), who did well at the national championships at Wellington, are also entrants.
