Nicklaus Wins Crosby Golf
(N.Z. P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) PEBBLE BEACH (California). J. Nicklaus won the 104,500dollar Bing Crosby golf tournament by five strokes. Nicklaus’s four-under-par final round of 68 was his best score of the tournament and gave him a total of 284. The United States Open champion, B. Casper, finished second (289) with a 73 for the final round. A. Palmer was third on 291.
