Rugby Tour For Brown
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Universities Rugby team will play perhaps the most brilliant team in Japan, Waseda University, in the first match of its tour starting next month. It has been reported from Japan that Waseda University played scintillating Rugby to win Japan’s coveted All-Universities title recently.
The selected New Zealand half-back, D. G. Hogg (Wellington), who was severely injured in a car accident, will not travel with the team. His replacement is M. T. Brown, of Canterbury University.
