League Team Beats Police A team of Christchurch Rugby League Club senior players caused the major upset when it beat Police at the opening last evening of the Can. terbury indoor soccer competition at Cowles Stadium. Police, whose members have alii played Indoor and outdoor soccer, were beaten, 2-1, by the league players who, although outclassed In the skills of the game, pulled through on enthusiasm and determination.
