AIRCRAFT UNLOADED

A light aircraft and crated parts were unloaded from the German vessel Cap Finisterre at Lyttelton yesterday. The aircraft was loaded at Sydney and is consigned to an Auckland businessman, Mr J. V. M. Kean, who said in Auckland yesterday it would be used for topdressing. The dual-purpose aircraft, a Transavia P.L.-12 Airtruk, is powered by a Rolls-Royce engine. It was originally consigned to Auckland by sea, but was put ashore yesterday on instructions from Mr Kean.

Fell From Tree.—A boy, Bruce Clements, of 11 Ombersley terrace, fractured both wrists when he fell from a tree about mid day yesterday. He was treated at the Christchurch Hospital and discharged.
