Billy Joe Recovered
The smart two-year-old Billy Joe. which escaped serious injury when he reared and fell in his yard about a week ago, seems fully recovered. At first it was suspected that Billy Joe had fractured a shoulder. Later it was found that the shoulder had been dislocated. Billy Joe’s Riccarton trainer, J. R. Shaw, said yes-| terday that the horse seemed so fit he was seriously thinking of putting him back into work. But he has decided to give the colt another week in the paddock. Provided there are no further set-backs Billy Joe will be back in full training early nest week.
