OCCUPATION CENTRE
Aorangi Road Project (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, Dec. 5. The Canterbury Education Board has been authorised by I the Government to accept a tender for a new occupation centre, to be built in Aorangi road. The. Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) advised the member for Fendalton (Mr Lake) of the decision. “Although the new Ferndale centre was opened in February of this year, there is still need for a second icentre. The new building will contain two classrooms and will provide accommodation for up to 26 children,” Mr Kinsella said.
