Lower grade matches in the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association’s competitions at Wilding Park on Saturday resulted as follows:Senior Reserve Barrington beat Fendalton by 4 matches to 2: United beat St. Albans by 4 matches to 2; North Linwood II beat Avonside by 5 matches to 1: Linwood avenue beat North Linwood I by 4 matches to 2: Beckenham beat Shirley by 7 sets to 6. First Mixed A Cashmere beat St. Albans by 12 matches to 4; Avonside beat Shirley by 14 matches to 2: Fendalton beat Spreydon by 13 matches to 3: Opawa beat Beckenham by 9 matches to 7. Second Grade Fendalton beat Spreydon by 13 matches to 3; Elmwood beat Shirley by 10 matches to 6; Waimairi beat Avonside by 9 matches to 7: South Christchurch beat North Linwood by i 12 matches to 4.
