PROTEST AT PRICES
Housewives Plan Boycott (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 2. A boycott of various foodstuffs was discussed by 120 housewives in Auckland last night, but the ilst of commodities was left to a committee. The women called themselves members of C.A.R.P.— the Committee Against Rising Prices.
They attacked inflation, rising prices of foods and the reasons why some prices were high. Later, the organisation plans to enlist the support of other women’s organisations on a national basis.
