Harewood Sewer Tender
The tender of George Chaffey, Ltd., at £33,995, has been accepted by the Christchurch Drainage Board for the construction of the second section' of the Harewood sewer reticulation . The tender was the lowest of five, the highest being £37,092. The lowest of 10 tenders, for £2175 Ils, from P. Mullan, was accepted for the Wyn street drain piping. John Butcher, Ltd., at £BOBO Bs, was successful from four tenderers for the second section [of the Clifton area sewer reticulation.
