BOOTH’S FINE BATTING
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) BRISBANE. The test batsman, B. C. Booth, played a great innings for New South Wales in its Sheffield Shield match against Queensland at Brisbane yesterday. Queensland won by 30 runs on the first innings. Booth made 149, including 19 fours and three sixes, in 254 minutes. He lost his wicket trying to hit another six.
