Four Added To Soccer
Canterbury has submitted the names of four more players to attend the special under-23 soccer coaching classes, to be held under the direction of the national coach, Mr L. Brocic, at Huntly in January. They are: C. Martin (Western), D. Almond (Western), L. Sayers (Technical) and R. Bruce (Christchurch City). The four players named earlier were T. Conley (Brighton), A. Gowans (City), O. Nuttridge (City) and G. Griffiths (Technical). However, Conley, last season’s Canterbury captain and “Player of the Year,” has not been able to accept the invitation.
