Tennis Win Reversed
Because of the late arrival of Miss S. Field the competitions committee of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association has awarded Edgeware the senior women's club match that it lost against Avonside on Saturday. Avonside won the match, 4-2. However, the competitions committee awarded Miss Field's singles game to Edgeware on the grounds of lateness. This brought the teams level at three wins each and meant that the decision would rest on the number of sets won. Edgeware won by nine sets to sLx.
