Rashid ran poorly In the Wainui Handicap last week. This week he Is in the Watkins Handicap, but would have to show improvement. Bren's Pride and Tracey (W. Searle) covered five furlongs in Imin 5 3-ssec. the last three taking 39 l-ssec. Tracey is engaged in the Awatea Handicap, but it Is doubtful if she will fulfil this engagement. She is likely to be reserved for the final day of the meeting. Point Duty was not worked at the track yesterday. He has improved with his race last week, but whether he will start in the Rimutaka Handicap or the Belmont Handicap has not been decided.
