Crackers A Hazard

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct. 20. The first floor of the twostorey building was gutted and stock on the ground floor was extensively damaged by smoke and water. At the height of the blaze a column of thick black smoke towered several hundred feet above Broadway and flames from the fiercely burning upper floor leapt 40ft high.
