Main Electoral Rolls
Copies of the main electoral roles for the 80 electorates in New Zealand are now at the office of the Registrar of Electors in Christchurch. Copies of supplementary rolls, which will close on October 26, are expected to be available early in November. The following are the numbers of voters recorded on the 16 main rolls in the Canterbury West Coast, Nelson, and Marlborough areas:— Avon, 17,221; Ashburton, 17,304; Buller, 14,543; Christchurch Central, 15,166; Fendalton, 18,135; Lyttelton, 17,925; Marlborough. 16,173; Nelson, 17,501; Rangiora, 16,068; Riccarton, 17,535; St. Albans, 16,850; Selwyn, 15,362; Southern Maori. 10,338; Sydenham, 16,687: Timaru, 17,540; Waitaki, 16,684
