Mild Day
It was a mild day in Christchurch yesterday, with a moderate to fresh north-easterly wind and a partly cloudy sky. The minimum temperature at Harewood was 50 degrees at 6 a.m. and the maximum temperature was 60 degrees shortly after 2 p.m. The Botanic Gardens recorded a maximum temperature of 59 degrees at 2 p.m. The Government Life building gauge showed 61 degrees at 4 p.m.
