APPROACH LIGHTING
New System For Wgtn.

WELLINGTON, Oct. 11
Wellington airport is getting a new approach lighting system to help pilots in night landings, the airport superintendent, Mr M. R. Vintiner, said today. Known as the T/Vasi system, the installation should be completed by midDecember. For several months airline pilots have been pressing for Wellington airport’s lighting system to be updated. The system has already been installed at most major airports.
