Nominees For Scholarships
Messrs R. P. Corballis and J. G. Riley, both aged 20, are the University of Canterbury candidates for the 1967 Rhodes scholarships. They will be interviewed by the New Zealand selection committee later this year.
Mr Corballis, whose home is in Marton, was educated at Wanganui Collegiate School. He graduated B.A. in May, and is now studying for his M.A. in English. Mr Riley, who lives in Christchurch, attended Christ’s College, and this year is completing a B.Sc. honours degree in mathematics.
