Ball For Former Marching Girls

More than 200 former marching girls from many parts of New Zealand attended the first annual ball arranged by the Christchurch ExMarchers’ Club at the Hei Hei Country Club last week. Some of the guests were original members of the first marching team formed in Christchurch.

Presentations were made to veteran supporters of the club, including Mrs L. Wormaid, one of the first club mothers, Mr I. Musson, and Mr G. Nankerville, the club president.

Mrs M. Spriggs arranged the floor show and welcomed the guests.
