JUMPING SHOW AT KAIAPOI

Record Entrv For Pony Club Event There was a record number of 430 entries from 151 competitors in the Kaiapoi Jumping Show, conducted by the Kaiapoi Pony Club on the property of Mr P. M. Moore on Saturday. Conditions were perfect and a bigh standard of jumping was seen on the wellplanned course. A new competition for the Unity Cup. given by Mrs K. Rice, Clarkville, attracted 44 entries from riders 14 years and under, and was won by Miss E. Watkinson, Christchurch. The Fleetwing Challenge Cup for the pony gaining most points, was won by Robin Harvey’s Quickstep and Graham Cox’s Cracker Jack, equal and the Harris Challenge Cup, for the horse gaining most points, Miss M.
