Scientologists Changing Name

The Hubbard Association of Scientologists International, Inc., in New Zealand is planning to change its name to bring it into line with that used in other countries. One of the two secretaries of the association, whose headquarters are in Auckland, said that the association would continue as a branch of the Church of Scientology. Other associations throughout the world were registered as a branch of the church. The secretary said a name had not yet been definitely chosen. It might be Auckland Church of Scientology. The association had between 4000 and 5000 active members in New Zealand, he said.
