Pedestrian Hit By Van
When a pedestrian, Henry Stephen Backhouse-Smith, of Easther crescent, Dunedin, was struck by a van in Hagley avenue at 10.25 a.m. yesterday, he suffered head, leg, and internal injuries. He was admitted to Christchurch Hospital, where his condition was reported to be fairly satisfactory.
