INDONESIAN SOCIETY
A society to promote friendship and understanding between the people of New Zealand and the people of Indonesia will be formed at a meeting >in Christchurch tomorrow night. It will be the New Zea-land-Indonesian Association and will be similar to societies already formed in Auckland and Wellington. The acting secretary of the association (Miss L. Murad), said yesterday that very few people in New Zealand knew anything about Indonesia, although Hie two countries were close together. The association would give information to people who were interested in that country, Miss Murad said.
