Tupaki Cups Mount For D.A. Peake

The successful Takanlni lightweight, D. A. Peake, has accepted the ride on the New Zealandowned galloper, Tupaki, in the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups this spring. Tupaki is a five-year-old gelding by Le Filou from Polotown, raced by Mr B. A. L. Millen, of Cambridge, and trained in Sydney by the former successful jockey, H. N. Wiggins. At his last start, Tupaki finished solidly to w-in the Eldersley Handicap, seven furlongs, at Randwick on Tuesday. The gelding carried 8-7 on a heavy track and won narrowly, but most decisively from Blue Clan and Smartly in Imin 26 9-10 sec. Mr Millen, who bred Tupaki, was on hand to see his horse win. ”1 did not think he would
