QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should hold an Extra Master’s Certificate or a Master's Foreign-going Certificate and preferably a good degree in Science or Mathematics. They should also have considerable experience in lecturing to candidates for Foreign Going Masters and Mates Certificates. DUTIES: The principal duties of the appointee will be to lecture to Master and Mate candidates and to supervise their courses. SALARY SCALE Senior Lecturer: M 51220 X 40— 31500 per month. i IMS—2s 4d sterling approximately at present.) The point of entry In the above salary scale will depend on qualifications and experience. In addition, there is a variable allowance which at present Is 35 per cent for salaries M 3506 per month and upwards with a maximum of MSISO per month for a single officer, MS2SO per month for a married officer, and MS4OO per month for an officer with dependent child/ children. Overseas appointees who are normally domiciled outside Singapore and the Malaysia region are also paid an expatriation allowance of M 3200 per month. The above salaries on current exchange rates are therefore for expatriate officers in the range approximately £2200 to £2940 per annum (gross) depending on circumstances and seniority.
