School of General Studies. 2900 MASSEY UNIVERSITY OF MANAWATU PALMERSTON NORTH NEW ZEALAND LECTURER/SERIOR LECTURER IN VETERINARY RADIOLOGY APPLICATIONS from graduates in Veterinary Science are invited for a teaching position in Veterinary Radiology in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences. Applicants should have had post-graduate experience in the field of veterinary radiology and, preferably, hold a post-graduate qualification. The successful applicant will be required to teach veterinary radiography and radiology to students in the fourth and fifth years of the course and will be responsible to the Head of the Department of Veterinaiy Clinical Sciences for the supervision and running of the X-ray facilities and for X-ray diagnostic services within the department. Opportunities for the development of X-ray techniques in teaching and research as well as in clincial diagnosis will be encouraged and the appointee will be expected to assist and advise members of other departments of the University In the use of these facilities as well as' developing his own particular research interests. Initially the appointee will be expected to participate to a limited degree in other courses in conjunction with Ms duties in radiology. The X-ray facilities include an Elema-Schonander Triplex Optimatic 200 kVP generator with both undercouch and ceiling mounted tubes, together with image intensifier, TV chain and facilities for cineradiography.
