Fatal 11,000 Volt Shock
(N.Z. Press Association) NELSON, August 31. An employee of the Waimea Electric Power Board was killed by an 11,000-volt shock in the Maitai Valley today. He was: William Alan Hargreaveji, aged 37, single, of 107 Vanguard street, Nelson. The accident occurred while Mr Hargreaves was helping to string a line between poles. The line suddenly tightened, sprang up, and touched the 11,000-volt line overhead.
