Medals To Metal
The Government Stores Board is calling tenders for the sale of more than 87,000 First and Second World War medals. But the medals are being sold on the understanding that they are to be reduced to metal and not to be sold or retained in their original. Tenders ar<> required to give a written assurance of [this. The First World War medals are bronze, silver and silt, and the Second World War medals are made of cupro nickel.
