Deer Park The Rotorua City Council has agreed in principle to a proposal to establish a deer park at Rotorua. The Deerstalkers’ Association applied for 10 acres of Jackson Park on which to establish their deer park, which it intends to run as a non-profit-making venture. It also intends to build club rooms on the site. The new associtaion said it foresaw the park as a. future attraction to the city. Several types of deer would be on show.
