Swimming Pool
A passer-by was surprised to find two ducks swimming In the gutter in Manchester street, opposite St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, yesterday afternoon. The gutter in this part of the street is filled with deep, clean water because of an overflow fn>m an ice-crerm factory me ducks left the gutter and waddled into the path of a car. The motorist considerately slowed down, enabling the ducks to return to the; gutter.
