Post Office Course
A week’s course in management began in Christchurch yesterday for 12 postmasters and senior supervisors of post offices throughout the South Island.
The chief postmaster in Christchurch (Mr M. E. Wilson) said that seven courses, four in Christchurch and three in Dunedin, would be held during the next two months.
Those attending the course which began yesterday are from post offices in Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland. The course is the first of its kind conducted by the Post Office for its staff, and is aimed at improving them as executive officers.
