BEHEADING IN PUBLIC
Four Yemenis j Sentenced (N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) ADEN, July 28. Four Yemenis—one a woman—have been sentenced to death by public beheading in San'a, the Yemeni capital. A European commercial representative who left San'a by air yesterday said in Aden last night that he saw the first execution on Tuesday. He said it was carried out with a sword. The traveller said he was told that the woman was due to be executed at midday yesterday—two hours after he left. He said the man beheaded on Tuesday was accused of killing at least four people by throwing a hand grenade into a mosque, and the others of complicity in hand grenade incidents.
Rocket Arrives.—The fifth Blue Streak rocket for firing from Woomera in the Europa satellite launcher series was unloaded from a ship at Port Adelaide today. Adelaide, July 28.
