Three Houses Sold
An eight-year-old brick bungalow at 11 Colwyn street, Bryndwr, was sold for £6OOO at public auction yesterday. The sale was held by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd., acting in conjunction with Baker Bros., Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr Denys Chapman. The house has two bedrooms, lounge, sun-dining-room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. There is also a double garage on the section of 33.4 perches. The initial bid was £4500. There were 13 bids of £lOO, and four of £5O. Offered on account of the estates of E. C. and T. M. Webley, an early-style bungalow on a section of 38.6 perches at 4 Gilberthorpes road, Islington, was sold for £l7OO. The auctioneer was Mr C. R. McAulay. The house has three bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. A house on a section of 32.1 perches at 69 Amyes road, Hornby, was sold for £l5OO. The property was offered on account of the estate of Albert Wallis by Mr L. W. Aitken. The house has two bedrooms and a living room The opening bid was £9OO There were five bids of £lOO, and two of £5O. The Government valuation is £9OO.
